mostly soccer and other titbits..

had a real crazy week in sch..

monday, training had us running like mad dogs.. coach said we always play til we're tired.. this time he wants us to play tired.. so he made us sprint-run rounds round half the pitch then play 4-a-side matches and later on 2-a-side matches.. i muz say i lOve the feeling of being reaLLy tired and drained of energy.. hahaa. it means ive had a good workout.. haha.. (:

we had a match on wednesday agst tanjong pagar football club.. they were really adults i tell u.. we lost 3-2.. denied a draw by a last minute goal.. i was the only junior to start and i played on the left midfield for abt 20mins b4 being taken off then played forward later on in the second half.. it was an ok match i guess..
muz try passing and crossing more w my left foot.. coach said my positioning as a strikerz better than on the left.. i juz hafta open up my strides when i sprint.. (: i thot as a less experienced team compared to tanjong pagar, we did well.. liyana and captain nuriah scored our two goals.. they were beauties i muz say.. haha.. nuriah took off her jersey when she scored.. hahaha.. that was really funny.. hurhur.. and lulu did a "walking jersey" kinda thing w nuriz jersey.. hahaa.. interesting celebration.. :D

thursday we had another match, this time agst ite simei.. they are rough manz.. very physical team.. they are skilled and good passer of the ball but i muz say theyre fitness isnt as good as ours.. the fact that i can outrun my marker, it tells u how fit they are.. haha.. i played on the left midfield as usual.. was to be put on as a striker for the last 10mins.. but a twist of fate had me performing at right back.. as i was abt to be subed, ganga in midfield got injured, so coach put me in right back temporary.. apparantly i did well in that gary neville position.. when it was full time, coach and cikgutold me i did well in right back.. i dunno whether to be happy or sad really.. i lOve playing well.. but in right back?! i'd rather attack than to sit back in defence.. mayb i can learn to be g.nev, attacking right back.. right sided roberto carlos.. haha.. hmm.. i guess i'll see wat happens.. looks like the next position i play for the next match will be at right back..

oh yar.. when i was playing right back.. i won the ball off the attacker and went forward w it all the way up to midfield.. then i was tackled and flew manz.. i literally flipped and rolled over a few times.. a foul wasnt called so i had to quickly get up and run back to my right back position.. but aft the match, i felt some pain in my jaw.. it felt weird.. haha.. came home and i cldnt chew on my left side.. bleah.. it still hurts today.. but itz fine tonite i guess..

saddening thing.. i left my shoebag at mac.. and my boots and shin pads and everthz inside.. shit. im bl***y upset.. my precious boots.. how am i gonna train on monday now.. sigh.. in totally abt 150bucks worth is lost including the shoebag itself.. can cry sia.. was jokingly asking my classmates if they wanted to donate to the "buy-xinyi-a-new-pair-of-soccer-boots-fund".. haha..

hmm.. thruout the week, been squeezing in projects and studying for tests.. more tests and project datelines coming up.. muz really concentrate and focus this weekend..

erjiez coming home tonite.. and i tOtally cant wait at all.. haha.. going to pick her up later at the airport later.. :D im gonna shower first..
