foOtbALL rOCks..!!!

sCREAMs!!!!! i payed my first soccer match!!!! wAhAhahahhaa... itz pure adrenaline rush i tell u.. pure gOLD!!!! hahahaaa..
i was in the starting eleven starting on the left flank.. the first 15min was really listening to coach and his shouting telling me where to run.. but aft getting myself in the right positions, i was all the way enjoying.. itz great esp when ur team mates are cheering u on and when they shout ur name when u do sth good.. (:
as girls, our matches are 5 mins shorter.. so one half is 40mins.. i played for 35min in the first half.. and it being a frenly, i can come out and go back in.. in the second half, i played 15mins as a striker and i tell u itz even better than playing left flank.. wahahhaa.. itz so free.. no need to think of defending.. juz beating the defender and scoring.. heehee.. found out being a striker is really a talent.. can be nutured but u have to have a basic instinct.. yupz.. heading seems to come quite naturally.. hmm.. interesting note i learned abt myself..

thruout the game, i realised that their keeper cant take goal kicks.. she always puts it dwn on the goal line and her defender kicks it out to the flank to another defender.. hahaha.. so when i played striker, i had the oppoturnity to run and pressure the defender receiving the pass.. aft i did that.. the sas defence line juz panicked and constantly kicked the ball out.. hahhaa.. aft that, we pretty much pressured them in their own half.. haha.. (: we cld have won the game w the attacking we were doing.. we had quite a few corners in the second half that threatened to go in.. i almost scored in the last few minutes.. w my left foot some more.. heehee.. :D my soccer mate told me that it was a good shot but it was a little too weak and thatz why the keeper caught it.. (: i shall improve..

o yar.. injuries to add.. i got 'armed' in the face.. aft that, my jaw hurt the next 2 days.. cldnt open it too wide.. hahaa.. i had a slight sprain on my left ankle aft a tackle on it.. itz doing fine now.. (:

oh.. forgot to tell u the score.. we were 1-0 up in the first half.. we conceded a goal in the second.. final score is a 1-1 draw.. :D
not bad for a team of newbies.. out first match.. shall tell u more in the next post.. im at my soccer camp now and im gonna go bond.. hahaha.. laterz..
