read abt the penang car crash that killed 4? terrible.. all bcz some assholes found it fun to speed.. i think these people shld be charged w murder.. ruining 4 chains of lives.. itz disgusting..

decided to make random comments abt 'free-speech'.. abt the white elephants along the road towards the bangkat mrt station was rather smart.. subtle but sent a really strong msg.. i didnt think the police needed to get involved in investigating.. it represented was the gov wanted didnt it.. for citizens to speak up.. thatz exactly wat they did without causing a riot or being disrespectful towards the gov.. they ought to be praised and not investigated..

abt the racism thingy.. itz really horrid and narrow-minded of those guys to post such comments.. i think that they are being really immatured.. i really believe such people are minority.. if not, u wldnt see kids hanging w diff races of their own.. in my gang of close sec sch frens, there were 6 of us: 3 chinese, 1 malay, 1 indian and 1 indian muslim.. if some think that itz religion that causes the conflict.. i say bullocks.. coz all of us have a diff religion.. im a christian baptist, onez a free-thinker, onez catholic, onez hindi and 2 of them muslim.. so i dun think it was that great a problem that caused us to dislike another race.. yes, we disagree sometimes when it comes to our beliefs.. when this kind of situations arise, we either debate abt it or if itz something that cant be spoken abt in that way, we abandon the topic.. i think itz an issue of sensitivity.. of wat u how u want to be treated and u treat others in that way..
yes, sometimes i might 'shun' an indian bcz of the strong scent of sandlewood.. but itz bcz of the scent more than skin colour.. itz the same when i smell some chinese families burning sandlewood as incense, i stay away..

and abt misbehaving 'races'.. i believe itz more of a social behavioural thingy.. it doesnt matter if a child is chinese, indian, malay or eurasian if hez running ard shouting on the mrt.. or if hez shouting at his parent banging on the table in a restaurant.. we still frown upon such behaviour.. so i think we are being critical when a person of a diff race speaks out agst another race.. we muz see it as a singaporean to another singaporean.. sensible person to sensible person.. so yar..
