cathay.. sigh..

i realise i havent really talked abt work at cathay.. im working at the cafe this time.. itz alot to learn.. how to make soothies and mocha and stuff.. itz fun tho.. (: only that i get really nervous when an order for drinks come in.. i still depend alot on my colleague.. her namez rachel and shez at cathay on attachment.. weird huh.. shez a student at ITE clementi..
met up w a few other pepz i worked w the last time i was at cathay.. like dinath and esther.. most of the managers are still there.. sadly terence is not there anymore.. wendy and the bunch that i worked w in box the other time is still there.. so yar..
the thing abt cafe is that im standing thruout my 8-9hr shift.. and that isnt good news for my ankles and shin.. which in turn isnt great news at all for my soccer.. so that sucks..
at least at cafe, i know my shortages wldnt exceed 3bucks.. haha.. as compared to tix prices esp now w the increases.. and the people at cafe are nicer and interestingly, there isnt as much politics at cafe than in box.. hmm..
im working disgusting shifts tho.. coz cafe only opens at 1.. the earliest shift i get is a 1 to 10pm shift.. today, im doing a 6pm to 3am shift.. and tmr, itz a 4pm to 1am shift.. im like perfect.. im going to go to church all zoned out.. for this week anywayz.. sigh..

the next hol, im going to see if i can get a relief teaching job at a pri sch or sth.. relief pe teacher? haha.. and im gonna get trained at the pan pacific hotel as a waitress.. so i'll have 2 jobs the next time, both paying more than wat im already earning at cathay.. cathay pay juz sucks lah.. we're seriously underpaid when it comes to people working at concession and at the cafe.. underpaid and without any benefits watsoever.. 4.50 an hr is crap.. working at starbucks making the same coffee and stuff gets u paid at least 5.50 an hr.. so i think itz crap..

o yar.. did i mention there are like tonnes of gays working at cathay.. i already met 3 on my first day.. onez at concession, 2 others at box office.. itz freaky.. i thot this guy was a girl when shim sat beside tisha at the cafe, but it turned out to be a man..!!! shim changed into cathay uniform and tied shimz hair up and suddenly didnt look like a girl anymore.. and i heard shim speak in a low man voice.. *shudders* itz scary..
the one at concession isnt that bad.. hez juz acts real feminine or hez really gay.. hez 26 but acts my age.. itz really sad..
im holding on for the next few weeks at cathay.. shldnt be that bad.. 4weeks past really fast.. so yar..

i found out that the match agst sas is at sas itself.. and that we have anoter one on the 3rd of oct at home to overseas family sch.. so thatz coolness.. heehee.. (:
did i mention that guys at sas are quite the cuties.. hahaa.. yupz.. from walking thru their gate all the way to the pitch.. haha.. :D
